Glock maintains a consistent brand identity. Internal enhancements may occur between generations (e.g., Gen 3, Gen 4, Gen 5) However, all models have the same safety features. Each model has a slightly different grip length, but the same texture, polish, and width.
9mm Glock vs 40 S&W Glock
The 9mm Glocks include Glock 17, Glock 17 & Glock 19. As for the 40 S&W Glock, this includes G22, G23, and Glock 27. The cool thing about Glocks is that nearly all Glocks feel the same in the hand even though the calibers are much different. Also, a Glock 19 will fit perfectly into a Glock 23 holster.
Slide Length and concealability
The Glock Slides 17 measures 7.32 inches in length. On a G19, the slide measures 6.85". The G26 measures 6.26". Just.47" separates the G17 from the G19 so, we like to put those into the same category. But half an inch isn't something to ignore as a longer barrel is hard to conceal carry but the aim is slightly more accurate.
Glock 19 vs Glock 26
Even though both firearms are excellent options, there are a few small limitations to each weapon that will make one a better choice for certain individuals than the other.

Glock 19 - Accurate and Powerful
Between the two, the Glock 19 is the larger one. The Glock 19 is a full-size pistol. Some as it's a better gun in terms of accuracy and power. It holds 15+1 rounds of 9mm and will even run 9mm +P ammunition. Adding two more bullets is possible using Glock 17 magazines, which are compatible with this pistol as well.
Glock 26 - Potent and Concealable
There is no doubt that the Glock 26 is a popular choice for concealed carry and back-up firearms for police enforcement, and it has been since the mid-90s when it was introduced.
There is a lot to like about Glock's subcompact 26. It's small enough to fit in a pocket or purse, making it easy to hide. In spite of this, it's large enough to avoid the common dangers associated with pocket pistols. In terms of performance and accuracy, the G26 has a respectable barrel length.
